Fan or no fan

Are you talking about a fan shroud on the radiator, or the fan blade connected to the water pump? I would remove the water pump before lifting the head.

You can disconnect radiator hose at the top. Unhook the 2 radiator support rods. Leave radiator shell on and pull forward and clamp to headlight bar to give room to pull head with water pump on. I just did this and it worked fine but you still need to be careful not to damage rthe radiator. Ron

Like Ron said. The one other thing that I do is put a big sheet of cardboard between the radiator and the fan to hep protect the radiator while you are pulling things out.

Thank you! The radiator is not on at the moment so this works out great!

OH, so you were just testing us to see if we were awake.:D

Yesterday's lesson learned............don't put a pumpkin pie in the oven, then lay down on the couch when you are sleepy.

It was only 20 minutes extra burned.

I have another one Tom. Last year's lesson learned.........Never fall asleep while making hard boiled eggs.
Oh...If you ever need to know how to remove chunks of egg yolk from the ceiling PM me. I'll share my knowledge!

hahaha, also if something says lift corner to vent before microwaving DO IT! alfredo sauce can be hard to remove....

i created a new deffinition of "popcorn" one day with those steamer bags...was rather loud as i heard a thunk thru 2 walls and immediately knew what happened haha.

Stew, yes, I live right down the street from the parade route but had to work. Really wished I was off that day to bend some ears...

haha I did too... I blame Tom burning his pumpkin pie... speaking of the punkin pie holiday is near - everyone knows its against the law to serve pumpkin pie with no whipped creme correct? The proper amount is to do a nice 1/4" layer of it over the entire slice on all sides....

Heh, looks like I'm not going to be correct because I am going to bury my pie with as much whipped cream as I can get away with!
