Based on the details what year model is this cowl, 30 or 31? Radiator rod brackets have the reenforcement plates on the inside of the firewall, lower hinge has three screws.

i would say its a late 30 or 31 because there is no indentation on the fire wall for the fuel shut off valve

Thank you Marco, guess I can claim to have a 1930 or 1931 Roadster, I'll deside what year to call it once it is in primer.

You need to decide before you go looking for front fenders, splash aprons, gas tank, and radiator shell.

Reinforcement plates [That was added before June 1930] ?? If you did not have the plates then you would have a 1930 early Standard cowl for a roadster/phaeton. If i was starting out i'll go for a "LATE" 1930 [Nov. Dec.] .2 piece running boards , easy to fine a nice 1930 radiator shell then a 31, easy to fine or buy front fenders w/o the horn piece because of the 2 piece running boards OR fine a really nice 1931 radiator shell and have a early 31. 31 radiator shells are getting harder to find. Bob are you going to the A.A.C.A.Nat's upstate N.Y. on June 4.?

Thanks Peter, I think I'll call this Roadster a 1930 since Dad's is a 1931. Funds aren't there for any meets other than Hershey this year. Good luck with your Senior. Bob

My standard roadster is set up as a late 30 using the one piece aprons, 3 bottom bolts on the doors, round speedometer and 31 front fenders.

Updated my avitar now that the firewall/cowl are sandblasted. I'll be fitting the new Brookville full cowl panels next.
