Ready and want to learn

I have been collecting heads, manifold, carbs etc. Now I am looking for someone to rebuild a Mercury Flat head v8 in the Connecticut area. I would like to be as hands on with the rebuild if possible. Any advice on where to go ??

I had Earls Engine in Stafford Springs do my Flathead, they did a great job. You could also try Eastwood in Somers CT.

I realize these two places aren't exactly in your backyard.

If a commercial business rebuilds your engine they may not be as willing to have you
hanging around for "learning" purposes. Be sure you have a clear understanding of your role BEFORE you commit. Plus, there are liability issues in some shops.
