I recently saw a post that recommended a Lucas Oil additive for smoother shifting. I can't find it again to get the correct product name. Please direct me to the post or tell me what the Lucas Product is. thanks.

You would have to search for Xmission oil, whatever that is...

There are a couple of different types.

I believe this is the one you want..

I use it in my 1931 Chevrolet and it quieted the transmission and shifting is much smoother. Have not tried it in the Model A's but I am sure it would work the same. It is available at Wlmart for half price of Autozone. Wayne

Lucas Oil Stabilizer. Run it full strength. Makes the trans shift smooth as glass. I had a howl with std 600W. Gone with LOS.

I'm using a 50/50mix of Lucas oil stabilizer and Lucas heavy duty gear oil. I think it shifts well.
