Hi
I got at 1935 stock flathead engine.
My dist is bad and I found a good 1937 dist.
I know the advance curve is different.
Is there any issues that I need to be aware of.
Is seem to ping a lot more?

There should be no issues with this swap. You will of course need the appropriate coil...

The Caps that plug or go onto the dizzy may have a different tab or notch to making it not a direct change . Look at the Dist. for the grove that the cap fits into. Just a suggestion. kx

Kerk has made a very good point - one that I should not have over looked. You will need the '37 - '41 inner terminal plates to go along with the '37 distributor. The '32 - '36 plates will not work on the later design distributor.
