What am I missing choke!?

What am I missing here that connects these 2 rods for my choke. And am I missing a spring and a sleeve? Thanks!

And is this the stock carb? No right, it's a tillotson and they didn't come stick did they? Is it better than the stock one?

Some people like that carb more than the stock Zenith, so you might want to try it before replacing it.

Your missing the sleeve, spring, and most likely the leather cupped grommet and the metal cup washer in front of spring. There will be other pieces inside cab another called upper grommet, its rubber and fits inside the ring on your gas tank area. I don't have picture but it sounds confusing here but picture makes it very, very simple. Have fun modelAtony tony white Lafayette, LA FORGOT , I have ran zenith's and tillys, run webber now since 2003. but between zenith and tilly the tilly's have always had more Huuuummmmppppphhhhh get up and go. Other people like zenith.

Great to hear! I luckily purchased a spring, sleeve and the full washer and grommet set and it came 10 min ago! So I think I have everything i need to put it together. I'm pretty sure st running super rich and hat is the big problem with it smoking a bit while running...

Looks like you found the set of stuff needed to hook up your choke.

But you don't need all this stuff to adjust your GAV. Just manually twist the choke rod on your carb clockwise or counterclockwise and that will adjust your gas problem.

Correction on this comment in that you don't have the thing to twist so you will have to take a pair of pliers to the valve to turn it till you get the needle housing

Good points, there is something missing on that carb. Is the shaft that attaches to the choke broken off? See 1955cj5's picture.
