lED dash lights

My F1 is a 12v. was wondering if anyone out there ever put lED lights into their dash cluster? do they even make LED lights for the F!?

I know a lot of guys in the Corvette world use them. They are brighter and last longer, which is really important if you've ever had to replace bulbs in a Corvette dash. There are several direct replacements for standard small 12 volt bulbs available. I can't believe that bulbs for an F1 are different than for an early Corvette.

If your bulbs are miniature bayonet size (BA9s), there are several different ones available on EBay and other sources.

I bought these and the ones mentioned above. These were much brighter. In fact, I just installed them today in my 54 Ford after making a comparison between the two. They are great.

No problem in fit. Went into the sockets just like the regular bulbs and into the dash hole just as easy

Mine all work just fine, they are just dim.
