Mitchell O/D Installation?

I have my engine out and apart for some work. The bell housing and ****** are still in the car. My question is, can I install a Mitchell O/D from the front, or do I still need to disassemble the rear end? I will be getting help from my club if I decide to get one.

One has to remove the torque tube and the drive shaft along with the pinion and so on.

I would think it would be way easier to take the rear out to do the work.

Thanx Mike. Looks like straight forward instructions. Our club helped one member install his last summer. They had lots of fun I understand.
So, if it's done from the rear, I 'm just going to put the engine back in and worry about the overdrive when I have more time.
