Was surprised to see this Model A being used to advertise an Auto Wrecking company on the south side of the city!

A lot of good parts wasting away up there. Or to the junkyard owner, there's a lot of good money sitting up there! Take it down and put a Pinto or Vega up there instead (I was going to say put a Pontiac Aztec up there, but that would scare all the customers away)!

My thoughts exactly. I wonder if the ugly Aztec is what did in Pontiac?

There's a Model T on top of a junk yard building on Rice street in St Paul, and I also thought that should have been taken down and fixed. I first saw it up there back in 1962.

i think it was due to the fact dang near every one of thier cars looked identical... grand prix, grand am, g3, and GTO all look darn near the same. aztek was pretty rough looking, had some very neat features for its time though.

wish they were around a bit longer as the G8 was pretty amazing car. they were going to bring the Australia's Holden UTE to the USA as an el camino. gimmie a "new" el camino v8 rwd with about 4-600 ponies under the hood anyday!

saw 4 A's in restorable rusty condition dragging my car back from mn to mi. 2 used as advertsing two as lawn ornaments
