Body Wood Suppliers

classic wood is the best place to go and is the main player..yes fit may be off on certain things but it is what it is...a good starting point

And now for the bad news! I bought my wood from Classic Wood a few years ago and Number one, They don't supply any sort of instructions, drawings, plans etc with it. If you don't know, you don't know! It seems to extremely difficult to get any sort of wood drawings for a ford with out paying $25 a copy from Ford. (Good God, These have been in the public domain for some 60+ years) Fordwood has schematic Dwgs but they are useless to us.
Fit, On my Town Sedan, the outer top wood seems to have too much radius on the outer edges. I need to pull the roof panels in with clamps. There is a misfit somewhere. Also, This same wood may be too long. These pieces tie in with the header and may be holding the the visor too far forward for a good fit (About 1/4 to 3/8") I'm having an old timer come over and look at it. This wood is too expensive to just start slicing. The bottom wood (Sills) seems pretty good. The holes are located correctly, but it doesn't close up close enough (For me anyway) . It seems that the cross pieces should be cut a little wider at the tongue and grooves. But this is a small thing and maybe theres too much variation in the location of the frame holes and so they have to send these pieces out "loose", I don't know. Overall the shape, sizes, and hole locations are good, just not perfect!

It varies from 1 to 6, each being different, along with the length. No two are the same. When you get new rails from the suppliers, they are numbered 1-6. If you're around eastern Pa. I have some you can use for a pattern, Cheep

New guy here with a question.
Does anyone know what the radius degree is for the top ribs?
