Finaly Own a Model A

Mass requires an inspection? never knew.......................

Yes and an inspection every year after. The inspection is for safety items like horn and lights etc. and not on emission controls. Lets face it , they don't know anything about Model A's and for most part can't even drive them into inspection bays.

Brought home a 1930 Model A last week. Have been looking for a long while

and finaly found one .

Change avatar to picture of it. Seems in good shape basicaly but will

need a few small repairs to get Inspection sticker.

Will probaly be looking for help at times.

Most of us had to start with a Tudor so you did very good ! Wayne

Texas had the same thing when I was there about 1970 and bought a Corvan with a horn that didn't work. I installed a brass squeeze bulb horn to the outside mirror so I could pass the inspection. The inspector didn't like it, but I pointed out that the style horn wasn't mentioned, only that the van needed to have a horn.:)

Hi
Thanks for warm Welcom to owning a Model a.

I kinda like it the way it is ( no white walls ) Tires are good!

It is not a pure car as I belive it has been painted, but seems

in good shape. Got to get the horn working and then it should pass inspection.

cradlescyth, that is a great looking Coupe. Congratulations!

Pass that inspection and then drive the tires off it..and then replace them with black ones! ;-)
Hey, it's your car enjoy it as you see fit!

Happy Trails!
