Pre-ordained?

Mr Sprecher, those radials do have a nice look. And radials are better for handling than bias ply tires but they make it harder to steer without power steering, especially at a stop. I had some on my 51 F-1 pickup and it was tough to turn the wheel. That is why I have hesitated to put the radials on a Model A.
What is your experience in steering with the radials on your Model A?

I'm about to step in that same mud puddle, but my thought on "harder to steer" is not so much the fact that they are radials, but that typically when radials are used in place of bias ply tires, the radials tend to be much wider than what was on there originally.

On the other hand, the 19" Excelsior Stahl radial tires have pretty much the same footprint as the bias tires, therefore should not make it any harder to steer.

Of course, this is just me talking out loud, as I have no direct experience. But like I said, I'm about to take this plunge myself.

That's what I am planning on getting for my PU.

Mo-better-picture! If you're careful about where you order them from (like Jeg's), your shipping could be almost free. DD
