shipping charges

I have vented at length on this subject. Most vendors seem to prefer one of the big name companies such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx, etc. All of these companies charge excessive customs brokerage fees for packages to Canada. I specify USPS when practicable. The rates are realistic, the service equal or better than courier ground service, and no brokerage fees.

I do realise that courier services provide a vital need when shipping overweight or oversize parcels, but I do object to paying twice the value of the parts ordered for shipping as I once did for some special screws for the MGB.

Like receiving 6 SMALL gaskets in a BIG BOX, they would have fit in an ENVELOPE. OH, WELL, as Glen Blue (rip) always said, "IF YOU'RE GONNA PLAY, YOU GOTTA PAY"
