Finish on Speedometer Cable Clips

i painted mine and left the bolt/nut raven with a unfinished lockwasher. [ on the frame].Firewall clip painted black with a raven round head screw with a unfinished lockwasher. Thats what i have.

Peter, When you say painted on the frame clip, did you paint it gloss black?

here is a picture of the clip on my original 31. It appears the clip was dipped in black emanel (note the runs) and the bolt was raven finish.

Just had to "try" and dig again huh Pete hahaha maybe dip it and it wont shine like powder coat...lol!!!

Hi Mark , last thing i would do is powder coat my clip... Might glow in the dark....Nothing on my car in powder coated. Good 9300
