I have used Passport Transportation several times and would definitely use them again. VERY professional and will give you the quote on the phone. I used Horseless Carriage once and would never use them again. Best of luck.
I have used Passport dozens of times with No issues whatsoever.
Used Blue Highways once to haul three cars. Horror story from start to finish.

I wouldn't let Passport transport a skateboard. Nasty drivers, indifferent salesmen, and many missed deadlines.
Boy, after using Passport dozens of times I can assure you my experience has been a total opposite of yours. VERY professional drivers, always on time (typically early and waited for me), and handled my cars with kid gloves.

Do not ever use a two bit out fit called showtime/pro-formance motor sports, this hick out fit has damaged more stuff than you can shake a stick at and gets away with it,I've talked to a couple people that have had vehicles ruined by them.
I know Horseless carriage personally the owner and one of the drivers, and you won't find a cleaner outfit than that, but Dave was busy on the east coast and gave me a company called enclosed cars owned by Terry Berry he had another car to deliever the next town away from me in a couple weeks and I timed in just right, for 1800 $ he dropped off a 1924 Glacier Cadallic from Auburn Ind to San Luis Ca.I tdon't get much better than that.

They didn't pick up the car on time as promised, even though I told them the seller was moving out of town. Their original salesman promised things that they denied when he was out of the office. They gave me a link so I could track the progress of the truck only to see it meander around the country trying to fill empty spots in the trailer. They told me emphatically that I was the next stop only to see them try to detour to Vegas on a trip from the coast of Washington to LA. When I called them on that they cried about losing money and grudgingly gave in. The final blow came with a pissed off driver chewing me out because he had engine trouble and was in a foul mood.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. it should NOT have happened the way you describe. I have nearly always needed my cars to be picked up and delivered within a very specific time frame. Passport has always done so.

Hopefully your experience was a fluke and mine not simply luck.

There is a local carrier here in Westport MA I used recently to haul a car from PA to MA. Very reasonable and efficient. Boston Car Carriers. Brian or Dave at 508 326 6665.

Good Tip !

It is hard to find a regional carrier for that area willing to do short trips.

I find it difficult to get to Pennsylvania with a car haul, the past few winters
combined with increasing taxes has made a lot of folks want to move out.

I am headed now to drop off to Philadelphia from Oregon,
I have not been in that area in at least six months ....

Brother-in-law has used Passport several times to move Mustangs from California to the Midwest, and has nothing but praise for them. A bit more money than some but he says they are well worth it.

I used Blue Highways once and it didn't go so well. I think they closed shop several years back heard others complain about them quite often.

The good companies seem to stick around and the lesser ones seem to go away!

Thank you for all of the advice everyone. I ended up going with Inter-City transport. Should be arriving today. I'll post how things turn out.

Zach

Intercity was the broker and the car was delivered by Joe from Show (Display) Car Services. He had a few issues that set him back a day but nothing that would in any way harm the car. All in all I am pretty happy with the deal. $1750 coast to coast enclosed with good insurance.

Looking good in that nice roadster Zach. Hoping to see that one in person sometime soon.
