What year is my A ?

The tag on the fire-wall appears to be blank, how can I tell what year it is?

The title is no help, it was replaced years ago and I'm not sure it's right.

Thanks.

There are only two places to see a number that will give you an idea of a date that the engine and frame were mated in US built cars. The engine and frame have the numbers. As you can imagine the odds of the same engine in the same car is slim.
These numbers have no corolation to body style. As for what you have we need pictures in order to help.

Still Runnin,

If you really want to nail it down to not only the year but the apoximate month your car is, PROVIDING it is an original assembled car and not one that has been peiced together over the years, get the MARC/MAFCA Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards and start to key out the different features that are on the car. This will give you a good window of assembly in any certain years.

BUT if you are just interested in the year of production, then yes, submit a photo and that will tell us if it is a 28, 29, 30, or 31.

Pluck

Also buying the SERVICE BULLETINS is a big help to ID the time period of build. It's also one of the must have books for every owner, and gives great details for many repairs.
