I have a friend with a Shay roadster that is missing the top. Will a stock A top fit it or are there other options for him ???
Thx!

try the Shay Model A Roadster Forum, lots of good info there. they have a hardtop add on there right now.

a shay routenely shows up to our local cruise ins, very nice car thats all there but its interesting to see the things that are almost exact to a model A then the things that are WAAAAY off and just appear weird...

I almost bought one before I bought my Sport Coupe. When I was in the US last year I visited the Volo Car Museum site and had a chance to look at them side by side for the first time.

Shay v Model A here

S.S,
I've read that they weren't allowed to use Fords' EXACT design drawings?? Considering that, the car came out fairly good. Have seen pics of adding Genuine wheels, headlights, etc, & made them look more Authentic.
Have also seen pics of some made into quite nice HOT RODS !

Shay's look a little more like an A than the Glasstique did. Am I saying that right? THAT car was a real ***** was nasty looking. I think they just made them in Phaeton style.

The point being to me about those cars was........... why:confused::confused: The Daddy of Vintique parts maybe!!
