Hey Mike,
A 'set' of reds headers ? Do you have a photo of the set to share ?
If you are working an A/B block, I'm familiar with tube header and a new cast iron version and , of course, the stock version exhaust manifolds. Charlie Yapp makes a 'set' of cast iron exhaust headers, but no one else to my knowledge.
Anyway, just tighten the nuts on the studs alternately by hand till all are tight with a small wrench (6"). And , check retighten after warn up and cool down from time / time. I've used inch lbs , when using torque wrench, but just for checking my hand tightening system. Have never broken anything this way....when both manifolds are FLAT.

Red's are tube type headers and I'm installing it on A block

yep , just tighten till tight . I use a 3/8 ratchet , extension to get to them , & end wrench for those I cant . just tighten as you would the stock exhaust . brass nuts work well & don't seem to back off ....
