Lube fitting on rear brake camshaft

When lubing my late '31 Tudor yesterday I couldn't find any grease fitting on the rear brake camshaft, as shown on the Model A lubricaton poster. Was the elimination of this fitting a late modificaton?

Sure the fitting just isn't missing for some reason ?
I'm not sure about late 31s but up until then they have them.

The grease fitting on the outside end of the emergency brake cam shaft was dropped. My 29 Roadster still has the grease fitting. I do not recall the service brake cam shaft as ever having a grease fitting ?

I know from taking apart backing plates, both front and rear,
that most of the brake parts, including brake shoes, have been a grease mess from leaking seals and over greasing. The brake shoe dust and grease and oil just make a mess.

Most of the interior working brake parts are cad plated or blued and really do not need to be lubed. Just my opinion.

That cam shaft is heavily loaded and needs lube often. The fitting is located between the the fork at the end of the radius arm where it attaches to the backing plate. It faces forward. Find it and lube it. If it is not there, there should be a hole where it goes.
