license plate debate???

I've been looking for '31 plates for Oklahoma, does anyone have one that they would be willing to sell?
Know anyone who may have one?
Point me in the right direction maybe?

E-bay, Craig's List, Antique Stores, other Model A Clubs (MARC and MAFCA) in Oklahoma, .......

As Del Shannon said in a song from 63-64 "Gota keep searchin, searchin...".

Pluck

Missouri seems to have restrictive regulations for their Year of Manufacture and Historic Plates though prices are great.

Historic (Antique) License Plates (From MISSOURI DMV . ORG])
To qualify, your vehicle must be 25 years old or older and used for exhibition or educational purposes, and owned solely as a collector's item.

Vehicles flashing historic or antique plates may be driven:

To and from exhibitions or educational events without any mileage restrictions
To any repair shop within 100 miles
Up to 1,000 miles annually for everyday use. You must maintain a personal use mileage log. This log must be carried in the vehicle when being driven on state roads.

OK, I emailed the tag number and asked a few questions about YOM to the DMV. Here is what they said. My number tag was ok to use and I only need one rear plate. The plate can be refurbished to look like new. Now the only thing is it cost a $15.00 addition for YOM tag.

I am so happy for this. I'm a hot rod guy and this truck is so nice, I never thought I'd leave anything stock until now. The 1930 tag , goes with the original intent of the restored truck. It's like wearing era clothing and having tennis shoes on. It just don't look right.

The nice thing about Missouri for historical cars/trucks tags is , no MVI and life time tags for one price. It's 1000 miles a year for pleasure driving and unlimited for going to car shows, rallies, displays or gatherings. Heck every where I take it, it will be ON DISPLAY.

Not trying to break any laws but it is a very nice 85 year old vehicle. It takes work to keep it, drive it and maintain it. It's not a rat rod or street rod, it's a piece of history. I'm sure if a LEO was to see it driving down the road, They would look at it as another person might look at it, COOL Historical ride.

Thanks for all the info and help, see you on the road.
