Gas Gauge Gasket

I've got a set of cork gaskets for the gas gauge that I purchased several years ago. I don't remember form where. They are too thick to get the index plate tab into the hole to start the nut over the glass. Does anyone know where I can get the correct thickness gaskets?

Thanks,
Dan

Just be sure all the old gasket is removed. Who knows how the gaskets were installed over the years. You could have removed only one of two.

I installed one that I bought from Mac's (Eckler's). No leaks. They sell a rebuild kit which includes gaskets.

If you are planning on getting new and shiney gauge nuts remember to NOT throw the old one away.
Some of the new ones come from China and are junk, they will cause leaking into your cab.
Guess how I know this.

the glass sediment gasket and fuel gauge gskts are the same diameter... but the thickness is different
possibly a sediment gskt got mixed up in the fuel gauge packaging...
