Is this a correct 1934 Licence Plate holder?

I recently purchased a repop rear licence plate holder from MACS and was a bit disturbed to find that the stamp "DUOLAMP-B" was not only crooked, but also upside down! According to what I have on a another 34 this is obviously not correct for 1934, but then suddenly I thought maybe it's for a 1932, about which I know very little. Would this be the case?

Yes, it is for a '32, but the DUOLAMP is upside down and it did not originally have the letter B following.

Searching old post found that whomever is still making the 1932 license plate bracket wrong to this day,at least on everyone of the Ebay sellers including third gen. Anybody know of a correctly made 1932 one? Duolamp B on all new ones and upside down.

They are only upside down in a '32 passenger car application (page 6-25), but not in their original Model A passenger car or '32 commercial vehicle/big truck applications. They had different part number suffixes and that for '32 passenger cars reads right side up with the word "DUOLAMP" and no other letters.

You may have to settle for salvaging an original bracket.

Obviously, in terms of function, they are all the same.
