Tack strip

Hi,
Several years ago there was someone on this site selling a Tack Strip that he was making. I think his name was Ed. Does anyone know who it was? Is he still selling it? Did it work well? Any other source for this material?
My original was some type of layered paper.
Thanks,
Bruce

Drake. It is not like cardboard but more like a very dense rubber. Seems to hold staples and tacks well.

Drake has it in two different thicknesses and widths. I just got through using it on a '40 coupe. I've used it before and it really holds the tacks and staples. Lebaron-Bonney also sells tack strips that are a plastic material.

Ed Solari , They are for roadsters and cabriolets for nailing the top material to the body . Not closed cars . He did a nice job on them but I have no idea if he has any more . He is here under his name .
