Model B Pickup Bed

While digging out a 29 tudor body this weekend the farmer I bought it from mentioned he had a Model B pickup bed that had been used as a trailer for many years. I will be back over to look at it in afew weeks as time yesterday morning did not allow me to look while I was there. Before I head back over I need to get educated some in the differences between the B bed and the V8 bed if any. I am also going to have to try to estimate value as I want to pay a fair price, but leave enough I can make some also. I assume the rear fenders are there along with the back half of the frame, but that remains to be seen. Looking on e-bay is giving me somewhat of an idea, but e-bay is not always the best judge with all of the variables. Please do not contact me about buying it yet, just want help so I can better judge value at this time. Thanks Rod
 
B and V8 beds are identical, and about 99% of '32 pickups were B's.
Item distinguishing bed from similar '33-4 is that the front side reveal area, the area enclosed by raised beading, is VERY short on '32...the bottom is pretty much a V-shape, whereas on a '33 that section is maybe 6" longer and has a straight bottom to the area between cab and fender.
Either type of fender is valuable...beds somewhat less so, as people tend to get the repro ones if original is very battered.
 
Thanks. I will see exactly what it is when I get back over there. Hard to know what questions to ask til I see it, and hope to make the deal and bring it home in one shot since it is an hours drive away. I will be cutting up another half buried A while I am there. Rod

33&34 beds also have a gas tank filler hole for the rear mounted tank. 32 tank is under the seat so the bed has no hole.
 
b beds are not same as 33 34 ben there done that sorry i cant tell you the difference i baught a bed from macks out of mobrely mo that had ben painted they had sold to a man for a 34 he did not notice the difference untill after he pantied it ps he was not a good painter
