What OHV conversions are currently available for the model A engine??

I know Charlie Yapp does the Roof and Riley 2 port, and I know about the Steve Serr Miller/Cragar head.

Is anyone reproducing the the Riley 4 port or any other OHV conversions??

All information appreciated. Thanks

The reproduction miller/cragar heads are really nice. Ive seen a couple of them and theyre top knotch. Cant say much on the reproduction rileys, either youre a fan of riley or not. If i were to pick one to have on a driver it would be a brand new miller. Just my .02

Hey waxhead,
Just point of interest, I just spoke with C.Yapp. I believe that he may be done with the production of the Riley 2 port..due to slack orders/interest/money ? He is concentrating on the Roof head production and , of course, his other offerings. I really like the looks of that Roof :)

As to you question..what other...I've heard that there are some making custom ALUMINUM OHV heads , kind of like what our friend/member here..George made from a chunk of Aluminum. Dan4banger's offering is aluminum also. If you read up on Dans' offering, is sounds great. Odd, do not hear anything about its use by others, like you hear about the Serr. Been wondering WHY , as I think that Dan's is a four port with 7:1 out of package ? No cast iron OHV heard of, since Dan Eubanks effort to produce a four port...

Neal passed away a while back and his wife isn't sure if they are going to contiune
or not. The machinist that was making the plates is willing to keep doing them but
doesn't know much about the rest of the kit.

Hey Dodge,
Yeah, Neals' death was a shocker to learn. What a nice man and contributor to our hobby ! May Neal RIP !
Kind of looks like his beautiful conversion kit will become collector item now, but hoping that the Mrs. can find a way to keep the kit being built.

An old rodder I met a year ago talked about fitting a 28 chev twin port head onto his A .

He mentioned a spacer plate as the chev head is flat to give a combustion area .
