Unique Model A items at auction

There's a LOT of nice stuff on there. Gorgeous collection of tin signage!
Pretty risky as a far away bidder in my opinion after reading the disclaimers.
Basically you pay up front....and if it ever arrives that's a bonus, with no recourse if it doesn't :(

This is why I always pay for Internet purchases with my credit card. If I have a problem, I file a dispute and the seller can take it up with American Express. I've never once had AmEx fail to make things right and I've had four or five different instances where the seller either failed to ship, sent something that wasn't what was in the description, or otherwise tried to pull a fast one.

I've dealt w/ Matthews Auction Co. in the past on several occasions, and they are totally reliable.

If there is a problem in shipping, it will be the carriers not Matthews.

They operate a well-run auction. Package items real well, ship fast.

Thanks for the reply, Jeff. It's nice to hear from someone who knows.

Now: any suggestions on how to convince the wife that I absolutely, positively MUST have a few of those goodies? :D

Tell her there is a gift certificate to her favorite shoe store attached to each purchase.
