1939 driveshaft missing the center bearing My spline coupling keeps breaking. This due to missing bearing or?

without the bearing the driveshaft "whips" around and causing vibration and most likely the breaking the splined coupling. Skip Haney down fla. way has a replacement bearing and the instructions to install it.

Thank you Alan. Anyone have a contact for Skip Haney. That sounds exactly whats happening. Takes about 3000 miles whips the spline right off the coupling.Big pain pulling it all apart to replace coupling.

Just for grins and giggles is this a shortand drive shaft in a hot rod or is it in a stock 39? I ask cause all the hot rod lit. says to remove the center bearing.
