I have just successfully posted some pics of my 34 coupe, thanks to BillM's excellent instructions. Been wanting to do this for years! Now I need to figure out how to put a pic with my username. Gordon.

The picture by your user name is called a avatar. click on the user cp above in the black bar, then click on edit avatar,
1. click, use custom avatar
2. click browse to upolad image from your computer.
picture must be 160x160 pixels or less.
you may have to resize your picture to make it work.

It sure is nice...

Here we are, a week and a half into the new Barn and everyone seems to be having a good time posting pix, reuniting, asking, finding out, etc. Sure is a ton of activity and I only witnessed one thread getting kind of testy. I think the picture thing is the best part of it.

Now all I need is software to re-size photos....what type of photo handling software are others on this site using? Joe

Joe,

There are a number of tools out there. If you have Microsoft Office there is a tool included called Microsoft Office Picture Manager that makes this pretty easy. You can also crop pictures, etc.

When I set up my AVATAR, from my computer, it was 800 pixels wide. That is the size that I load on for e-mailing. It worked !
