Wood Windshield Header 1931 Coupe

How much wood should be showing above the metal windshield header? Maybe it should be flush? I'm trying to determine how much I need to sand off. At the moment the wood is sticking above the metal about two eights of an inch. Any pictures or advice would be helpful. I can't find any pictures, videos, or information in my model a books with a front shot or measurements.

Thanks,
George

Glad you found answer. Remember there is a piece of welting that goes behind the face panel and seals to visor

There is a round welting that goes between the visor & the header to hide the exposed wood.
