Wire wheels on a 1917 ???

Jim, The wheel looks great! The small drum seems to make it look a lot more legitimate on the earlier model. Any chance of a picture of the whole car so we can see how it looks?

Will get a good photo of the car later this week , didnt get out there today ( hot-hot)

Taking the car on the Rainsville Indiana tour next sat and will get some pics of that event as well. Pretty cool little trip to a old tim little village built in the middle of a corn field with tractors , a saw mill sawing wood and a huge black smith shop .
I am in charge of the cold watermelon with the truck.

Sitting home all day recouperating is dangerous!! I followed the link you sent and the spinners were like $36 plus $18 for shipping. So I hit the beach for some surfing... Found a set for $22 with FREE SHIPPING!!! How cool is that???? Ten phone calls later, I come to find that theres a $25 minimum for the shipping offer. I order 2 dash lite bulbs to qualify and get a receipt for an additional $9.89 UPS PLUS $15 handling so them californicatin' rump rangers dont get cooties on their hands. So I highly dont recommend EVER using these "dudes" without protection LOL . So now, after my allowance comes in on the first, Ill be ordering from Bubbas' link. See what happens when you try to save a buck???? ws

Beats me why this took so long but ya know how things work sometimes. First it was just too hot here to get anything done and then i had a couple issues (getting the new studs swedged in the the rear hubs) Finally cooled off and i got er done.
I love em for sure , drove it in a parade this morning and got the camera out as i drove past the shop.......:eek::eek:
