Wire wheel covers

would look better with wider whites those look too 70-80s.as to bending the tangs as some suggested there are no tangs on wires

I have a set for my '56 Meteor Rideau Victoria. Looking forward to using them but didn't realize the problems associated with them. Then I thought about drilling holes for valve stems. Then I read about the shearing effect. But what about sleeving the valve stem with a piece of stainless tubing that would be held in place with the valve stem cap? The shearing wouldn't occur with stainless!

 ... WHAT? No Picture(s)?

Are yours the OEM style with clips or aftermarket with tangs?

this is what you may want to install.I thought of putting them on mine but the poverty caps have grown on me.I have the wires and discs if I want to change if so I will install these.they are available in different styles.better than a sleeve which would still have a rubber base too tear out of rim over time.

Well the car is in deep storage. Still working on my OT TR6. Then I have to decide on the Meteor or my '32 5W. They are OEM wires by the way.

Funny thing is I was just going to use the full wheel cover but he Meteor medallions for the centre are not in great shape. Found a fellow online that sells repros but I think they were around $225 for each one!

I should have added to drill the hole I used a step bit easy peasy without worrying about regular bit grabbing on the flute.here are pictures of wall hangers picture is to show hole and shot from back showing outlined in black.measuring from inside of disc hole should be approximately 1 1/16 from inside edge. tried with and without flash still too much glare from disc.
