windshield washers

i'm working on a 1955 T Bird that hasn't had washers hooked up . i have figured out that a new washer diaphragm was needed and a casket for the cap. now the problem. 1 hose from bag goes to diaphragm, the second hose is to go to nozzles but i can't find a hole in the firewall to put hose through to get to the T for nozzles. if anyone can point me in right direction it would helpful.

The hose for the nozzles goes thru the same rubber piece as the electrical wires on the firewall. Looking at it from the front, it is the hole on the left side. This is for the 55/56. The 57 may be different.

It's up high under the front lip of the cowl just a few inches from the starter solenoid.
I'll guess there would normally be a grommet in the hole for the hose to pass thru???
This example red T-Bird is an early '55. The yellow one is '57.
