I bought this from a guy who said it was Model A. I am building a Model A. I found out it is not model A.

Can anyone tell me if it is Model T?

It certainly does look model A but I do see differences. The Briggs body Fordors in 1928/29 were different but I'm not certain how they are different. The top hinge, the protruding studs, and the way it is joined together is not the same as the average 1928/29 model A closed car. The 1926/27 model T closed car windshields are similar to model A but are also different.

First, not all model A's were the same.

The lower part is the same for 1928-31, except slant windshields.
1928-29 had a upper hinge similar to the frame you have, 1930-31 used a different upper hinge.

1926-27 coupes and tudors also had at least two different frames. While again the lower part of the frame is the same size, the bodies with wood reinforcing around the quarter and back windows used an upper hinge similar to what you have (and have a header that is open on the back side. The bodies with the steel framing around the back/quarter windows (and a boxed header) use a different hinge, the same or similar cross section to the one used in 1930-31.

1926-27 Fordors were a carryover body from 1925 and may have been different yet.

I have also seen a post with a frame having 1926-27 measurements but with a piano style hinge.

There you go

So, this may be for a 28/29 model a but not a 30/31.
I have a 31 tudor so its probably not correct?
Maybe i should see who needs this and i buy a 30/31?

IF the bottom of the frame is a perfect fit then it is likely a 1928-29. IF so, and you could find just the hinge from a 1930-31 (except slant windshield) you could possibly use it.
