Water temp sending unit 6 volt for y-block

Does anybody have a good water temp sending unit for 54/55 Ford or Merc y-block? Part number is 1A 10884A. New or known good used is fine. Must be the 6 volt unit, screws into left side head, just below the throttle linkage.

The temp senders are stupid and don't know if the are getting 6V or 12V. The gauge makes the difference but you can add a GAUGE VOLTAGE REGULATOR and 6V will work on 12V. What you need is the sender for a light and not a guage in a 54/55 Ford.
 
I have a couple of them in a box in the garage. They are 6 volt. I could probably pull out the one I was using prior to doing a 6 to 12volt conversion years ago.
They do sell those brand new at Concours in case you didnt know.
