Vendor question ... Am I off base here?

I've installed in my cars both there 6&12 volt systems, and there auto advance on the dizzy shaft. Recently, they made a dizzy for my AMC 2.5 4 banger, cause I'm running it with out a computer in my Hot Rod. Have I had problems, YES but only with there coils. The one sent was bad from new and caused problems untill I finally found the coil was bad. I went to NAPA, and got a new coil, it went bad in a few months. I am on my 4 coil now, and living in the Islands, I can't seem to even find one here. Best way to fix the problem is buy a new car, LOL. I will eventually find a good coil, but we are dealing with 80 yr old cars that we want to run like they were made last yr. We like to cry in our beer also. FS was good to me. Iceman

I have installed about 5 FSI electronic ignitons on Club member cars over the years, both 6 and 12V styles and all have worked great.
Have talked with FSI and whoever answers the phone was very helpful.
The instructions have made sense to us and had no problems installing the kits.

FSI has always been good to me. My grandpa installed the unit that is just put in the stock distributor and looks original, and it has worked great since last winter when it was installed. FSI sent me a centrifugical advanced unit this summer, but I've had so many other problems with my car since then, including having to pull the motor (which is still out, and will be out for some time until i get enough money to fix it). I plan on installing the new ignition when i put the engine back in. I would never hesitate to buy a product from them. Really nice guys that are always willing to help. Sorry you didn't have the same experience. But what was the part that failed? And i think that any parts supplier would expect you to pay for return shipping, not just fsi. For example, I'm about to have to pay to ship an engine back to a rebuilder, even though it wasn't my fault that it broke.

These electronic ignitions sure make life easier.
I'll take quality points on a B dist. cam, but I guess I'm just old-fashioned.
