Valve stem leak

I have a leak, crack around the valve stem rubber, now noticeable flexing it a bit after pumping the tube up. Any successful suggestions on best method to repair apart from a new tube?

Suggestions most appreciated

If you insist on keeping the same tube, you might install a Model A style metal valve stem.

WEB-KIT-0594.jpgInstall a metal valve stem the dealers sell or a replacement rubber stem.https://tubevalve.en.made-in-china....ffi193&faw_id=1jf4ncq5sec8&bv_id=1jf4ncq5vf9c

If the wheel that is doing this has had a new tyre fitted recently (not previously inflated) this is normal. When the tyre and tube are put on the rim, some air is left inside the tyre between the tyre and tube. As you inflate the tube, it has to go somewhere.
Soon after I got it, I had 3 of the 4 tubes on my tourer leaking at the valve. The metal insert was not vulcanised tot he tube stem. I wrapped a thin piece of wire around them and twitched it tight and drove home some 4,000 miles.
