Unusual Reverse Idler Gear

I purchased a NOS Reverse Idler Gear, #B-7141(gear on the left). I attempted to install the gear in my 1930 Model A Deluxe Coupe, but it would not fit. When I compared it to the gear I was replacing(middle gear shown), I discovered that the gear was wider. I also compared it to another used gear I had on hand(right gear shown), and again found it to be wider. Upon closer examination, I noticed that the NOS reverse idler gear was different.

Differences noted include:
1] The NOS gear has a shoulder on BOTH sides , whereas my other two gears has a shoulder on only one side. Therefore, the gear is wider. The second picture illustrates this.
2] The NOS reverse idler gear does not have any bevel on the ends of the teeth on the predominant shoulder side. Said bevel appears to be on the opposite side of the gear. The third picture illustrates this.

What transmission does this NOS Reverse Idler Gear fit? Appears to not be a #B-7141, and placed in wrong box. Is there such a thing as an #A-7141? The only stamping on the gear is "USA P09"

Thanks.
