Tea Cup Style Tail Light Wiring?

The Judging Standards states “lamp extension wires attached to the rear fender bracket or fender skirt with a special clip”. Does anyone have a picture of this clip?

Also, does anyone have a picture of the original connectors used to connect the tail lamp extension wires to the rear wiring harness?

Here's a couple photos of the tail lamp harness to tail lamp extension connectors. These photos are of an original, unrestored 1929 Standard Murray Fordor with very low miles. Firewall date is July 28, 1929. It does not have the clip one the fender skirt or fender bracket.

Hello Dave,
So it looks like the connectors are black rubber on the outside. Is that correct?

If the covering (tubing) for the pigtail wires to the tail light is original, can you tell me what the outside diameter is?

Thank you Pat,
I am thinking that the special clip I would like to see attaches to the fender bracket or skirt. So, there would be no wood to attach it to.

on my s/w, it's this clip attached by one of the 3 fender skirt bolts. I tried to attach an image from my host site, but its not working on fordbarns image attachment feature. I have seen the wood screw used on pickups

Okay,
Both clips (one with wood screw and one with bolt) look about the same. And, the clip looks like A-14577-A (Terminal box to generator conduit clip). So, the clip should not be hard to find.

Pat, is the conduit on the fender the same as the outside diameter conduit for the Terminal box to generator?

The fender clip is slightly larger on the tab than 14577, to allow for the larger diameter bolt hole. Brattons has it in their catalog. I believe the loom is the same size as the generator loom. if you want an original, try Berts...they might have the repro too.
