Speedometer cable for S-W "Greenline"

Bought a used set of Greenline gauges for my '37. Was told they came from a repro Auburn speedster, probably 1970s era. Need a speedo cable to connect it to turtle on stock torque tube. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I put a SW speedo in my 1937 car back in the 1960’s and I am pretty sure I used the stock cable housing with no modifications. (This is incorrect, see reply below.)

I still have both pieces, I may have to go out to the shop to check later and report back.

Thanks, Zeke. Problem is, both the output on the speedo and the attachment on the cable are male fittings. Also, they are different diameters. I'll need a cable with a Ford turtle attachment at one end, and a Green Line S-W at the other.

I saw that when I went out to look at the parts, sorry for the incorrect information. Now that I have done a little more research, I think you could use a 5/8” x 18 UNF coupling nut to connect the two parts. It might be hard to find locally, but McMaster-Carr shows them.

Rusty at Speedometer Service in Colorado should be able to fix you up. He repaired the SW speedometer in my '39 p/u. He also made a cable to connect a Ford AOD to the speedometer in my '54 Ranch Wagon. Can't say enough good things about him. He is an Alliance vendor on the HAMB.

Another vote for Rusty. He hooked my 350 turbo to my 32 speedo and it's worked flawlessly for over 10K
