Speedometer Cable Clip Location

Trying to locate hole for the bolt that holds speedometer clamp on 29 coupe.

Is the speedometer clamp attached to the upper flange of the frame or lower flange?

If it is the lower flange - there are two holes between the rear motor mount and the center cross member. Which hole is it (one closest to center cross member or one closest to firewall) ?

If it is the upper flange - there are 3 holes. 2 close together (that would seem too close to the center cross member) and one additional hole. Which hole would it be?

The clamp must go to the upper frame in order to clear the cable housing from the muffler; The hole in my very early 28 is located about 1/2" forward of body mounting bolt # 3 .

Thanks and a quick follow up question. I assume the clamp is under the upper frame flange, the bolt goes in from the bottom, and nut and lock washer on top of upper frame flange.

Correct??

I installed the bolt thru the top of the frame, with the clip, lock washer and nut on the bottom of the top frame. Wouldn't be enough room on the top as the sill is quite close.
