Smaller steering wheel on F-100 column

What must you do to put a smaller steering wheel on a 1953-55 F-100 column--

if your changing the front end why would you use the stock three spd column I don't know if you even can why not a tilt modern then you could use any size you want

As of now not going a new front end as stated above want smaller wheel so can fit in cab easy and test drive new original build around my property--- need to know spline size for a adapter
