slant coil vs. straight(Feb. '30)?

If slant pole coils were used until "early 1930", Could an 'A' manufactured in February('30) have either(straight;slant), or is there an exact cut-off date/month?

Good question......I would also like to know if the slant pole coil was made with the "Ford" script ?? I have a slant pole coil (hooped) that does not have the Ford script.

Not likely there is an exact date as it would depend on when the plant your A was built at and when it ran out of the slatpole style. Is there anyone that is putting new innards into the slantpole cases? I have one i would like to have this done to. Planning on running era replacement slatpole til then. Rod
