Need a NOS or good original wiring harness for a single bulb headlamp A.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, Ron

Steve,

Vintage Ford in Sacramento makes the wiring harness for the very early 28; the harness they make has plug in connectors. The same harness was used on the 2nd generation switch except it terminated (soldered) on a special terminal block; this uses the 1st generation light switch with a bail and only moves one position to the left which is park and one position to the right which is the driving light; you do not have a high and low beam.

If you have the correct switch, contact Ron Palmer at Vintage Ford and he can make up the harnesses , without plug in connectors, you will have to terminate the wires on your terminal block.

Sorry I sold the last switch and terminal block I had that was extra.

The unique thing about the early harnesses is the tail light harness is seperate and long enough to extend to the drum tail light and plug in; the headlight and horn harness is seperate.

Vintage Ford used my original harnesses to set up; they are color coded correctly and have flag terminals where correct; they have original mechnical looming machines so little things like the stop light switch harness is loomed to the switch just like the original.
