Hello, recently bought a repro side mount spare bracket for my 31 , the metal finish seems more of a casting,some what rough.Are original brackets also like that? The original brackets were probably painted similar to fenders,black dipped. Thank you.
Hello,thank you for the reply, had a chance to look at original brackets, they do have a similar rough finish, but the repro is more course, plan to sand and use high build primer to get it closer to original appearance. Thanks again.
