Shoebox Radiator Mount Question

Just need to know if the side mounting flanges of the radiator (on my '51 Tudor) mount to the front or back side of the core support? I feel dumb having to ask but my shop manual doesn't clearly show, and the previous occupant of this engine compartment was a 6 cyl. With a new brass rad and a 4 blade fan in close proximity I don't want to be banging around seeing where it fits best. Thanks!

The radiator goes in front of the radiator support.
