SOLD to Bob
Set of 4 matching shocks, 2 clockwise, 2 counter clockwise. These shocks have not been restored, but I did take the adjusters out because this can be one of the most difficult tasks in restoring shocks. If you twist one off inside the shaft you just created a light weight boat anchor. I did just that with a shock while creating this set and I did not want you to do that.
If you notice the picture with the adjusters removed you might be able to see they are all wet with oil. I bought many shocks over the last 50 years but always checked them to make sure they were not dry and rusty. I have had very good success restoring shocks that are still wet with oil or shock fluid. Most dry shocks are not restorable without special machine work to install bushings.
These shocks come with the special shock bolts. Use new lock washers and nuts from your hardware store.
Restoring shocks is a big job but well worth it to have an original set worth $1200.
I am turning 85 in a few days and I am selling all my Model A stock. Still have too many other things on my bucket list so not restoring shocks anymore.
