Setting idle mixture using vacuum gage

Normally, you would connect the vac gage right to the vac fitting on the intake manifold, but my engine is equipped with the dual action fuel pump with the vacuum booster.
Should I connect to the booster tubing that goes to the vacuum windshield wipers or should I bypass the booster by connecting directly to the manifold.
