There is a 1956 Ford Safety ad on line which might help. Put "1956 Ford Seatbelts" in Google and the ad will come up under "Curbside Classics". There is a small illustration in the ad which shows the location of the seat belt mounting brackets behind the front seat. Ford Barn won't let me post the link for you.
