Sanders Glass of Vancouver, Wa purchased the Glass 'bugs' from a lifetime V8 member -Doc Hagerty of Albany, Or. Well known folks of the Portland area V8 ers. I have purchased from Sanders and was pleased with the glass and even Canadian 'Bugs' etched on that glass, for a Canadian Mercury '48 Pu. Newc in Oregon

Yes, I got all my glass for my 40 woodie from them and I finished up the car in 2014, also got all the glass for my 40 V8 coupe finished maybe 5 years ago. All fit well all black edged and bugged. I would recommend them for any old Ford glass. Sanders was in Oregon and when they retired the current owners bought all their patterns and business name. The father owns a BIG glass company that does high rise buildings and has all the latest equipment laser cutters etc. I believe the father's company is called Peninsula Glass and the kids business is in the same building. Got all glass in a few weeks.

I purchased glass from them this summer for my 46 Fordor. 3-week or less lead time. time as I recall. Haven't put it in yet so can't comment on fit. Got my glass from them for the 42 coupe in 2023. Thickness almost identical to the original. Quarter window and vent window glass great. Windshield glass fit very tight but did not require modification. Door glass had to be sanded close to an eighth of an inch on the sides to allow the windows to roll up. I would buy from them again. I thought their website was easy to use.

I know it's not stock, but they also do tempered glass for side and rear windows. Less prone to chipping.

Thanks guys. Just placed my order.
I have gone through a friends glass shop locally for decades and have been very pleased. However, he's swamped and the "old stuff" gets pushed back.

Very happy so far with Sanders. GREAT communication! Supposed to ship within a week.

Thanks again guys.

Thought I owed you guys a follow up.
I'd received the windshield for my '36 yesterday; just about ten days since I'd ordered it. It came in a sturdy and well protected box.
It matched the original nearly perfectly and fit quite well.
The cost with shipping was about $180. I didn't feel that was unfair especially when considering the quality, speed of shipment and the high cost of shipping.
I'm happy. Thanks guys.

I had a good experience with Sanders for all the glass for my 1935 truck. They even made the sliding rear window glass from a Ford Engineering drawing that I provided including a 0.2" diameter hole in each of the two identical pieces. They also installed the black edge filling by removing 1/8" of the laminate and replacing it with black material just like Ford did in the day.
