Rumble seat or trunk lid which do you prefer?

My car originally came with a rumble seat. While I think it would be cool to have a rumble seat, I know the trunk will be more useful. Just not sure what to do, not sure that it really matters on this car though. I think I might convert to a trunk and do the rumble seat in a nice 32 roadster should I ever be so lucky.

Trunk is more convenient, I'll give you that, but we've got 3 in the family so there has to be a place for my wife to sit :p

RUMBLE SEAT
Not a day goes by that people don't show their children or grand kids my rumble seat, telling about "Stories" they have heard, or how they rode their as kids.
You can also store a mess of "stuff" in it. If you are going on a trip you can pull the seats and have a lot of extra storage from that, too.
 
Trunk, without it I would be lost.

I have a Coupe and a Roadster, both with rumble seats. Yes, I do enjoy carrying the grandkids in the rumble seat but I only use the Roadster for the precious cargo. The reason is simple, I need to be able to reach the kids and they need to hear me in case they move around too much. It is interesting that most of the grandkids ask for our Town Sedan when we make "mystery trips" (generally to McDonald's). I would much prefer to have a trunk in the Coupe. Gar Williams
 
I have both. I like the trunk for all the room for tools, cooler, beach chairs and etc. I guess I could live with either one. It seems you always find a way to make do.
 
When I want to tour, I like my 30 coupe with a trunk. When I want to take the grandkids for a spin, I like my roadster with the rumble seat.
 
Rumble Seat. Impractical, yes, but indicative of the era. I like answering yes, when spectators ask, "Does it have a rumble seat?". I also like hearing from the elderly, "Son, I could tell you some stories about what we did in the rumble seat". I cover my ears. Modern cars have trunks. I wanted an old car, and nothing says old car, like a rumble seat. Besides, where would Bob (the dog), go?
